Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Identify new business opportunities, pitch products or services, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Understand clients’ business objectives and tailor solutions that align with their goals.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotes that highlight the value of your offering.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to finalize agreements while maintaining company profitability.
- Work closely with internal teams like marketing, customer success, and product development to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline using CRM tools to track leads, progress, and follow-ups.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to inform sales strategies.
- Gather feedback to help improve products/services and relay client insights to relevant departments.
- Provide regular updates and forecasts to sales management based on performance metrics and expected closures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a sales or account management role (often 1–3+ years depending on the industry).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively pitch ideas and build relationships.
- Ability to understand client needs and deliver solutions that drive satisfaction and loyalty.
- Skilled in managing objections, negotiating terms, and closing deals confidently.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (like Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and common business software (MS Office, Google Workspace).
- Capable of handling multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines efficiently.
