Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities. Meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue targets. Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions. Develop account plans and strategies to maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, and customer success) to ensure client satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Negotiate terms and close deals in alignment with company policies. Manage contract renewals and expansions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics. Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services.
- Use CRM tools to track sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for leadership.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation for all accounts. Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- Provide client feedback to internal teams to inform product development and enhancements. Address and resolve client concerns promptly and effectively.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential account risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred). Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven sales experience in a similar role, such as sales representative, account manager, or business development professional. Experience in the relevant industry (e.g., SaaS, advertising, finance) is often advantageous.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Strong ability to prospect, pitch, and close deals. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Strong presentation skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Skilled in handling objections and conflict resolution.
- Ability to analyze market trends and client needs to identify opportunities. Strategic approach to account planning and business development.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of relevant technologies or product offerings in the industry. Ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and effective follow-up practices. Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed.
- Resilient and adaptable in dynamic or high-pressure environments. Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Sales certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Person [CPSP] or similar). Industry-specific training or certifications relevant to the role.
