Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with new business opportunities by researching prospects, qualifying leads, and conducting outreach through various channels.
- Deliver product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the needs of prospects, showcasing the value proposition and features that address their pain points.
- Manage negotiations and close deals, ensuring alignment between client needs and the solutions being offered. Secure long-term customer commitments.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their goals, challenges, and needs, to ensure a long-term partnership.
- Oversee the smooth transition of new clients, ensuring they have a positive start and are familiar with the products or services being offered.
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients to identify new business opportunities, upsell additional services, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Regularly update sales forecasts and pipeline data, reporting on sales performance to management. Track progress against sales quotas.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align strategies and ensure consistent messaging to prospects and clients.
- Proactively monitor customer satisfaction, address any issues or concerns, and work to retain clients by providing excellent service and anticipating their evolving needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and product offerings, ensuring the ability to provide informed and relevant solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Additional certifications in sales or industry-specific knowledge are a plus.
- Proven track record of at least 2-3 years in B2B sales or account management, preferably in a related industry. Experience in sales pipeline management and achieving sales quotas is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate with clients at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to identify prospects, build relationships, and close deals. Skilled in cold calling, conducting sales presentations, and navigating complex sales cycles.
- Focused on understanding customer needs and providing solutions that align with business goals. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and sales processes efficiently. Skilled in prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and keeping organized records.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms. Ability to learn new software tools quickly and use technology to enhance the sales process.
- A self-starter who can work independently and drive results. Motivated to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to align on strategy and deliver optimal results.
- Capable of identifying client issues and providing effective solutions that meet client needs while achieving company goals.
