Responsibilities:
- Implement and execute the company’s sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets. Identify potential markets and develop tailored outreach strategies for different client segments.
- Prospect, identify, and engage new clients through cold outreach, networking, and inbound leads. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, including negotiation and contract signing.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Conduct virtual product demos, sales presentations, and meetings using video conferencing tools.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline in the company’s CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with potential clients to close deals efficiently.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align on client needs and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and report on key metrics, such as conversion rates and revenue generated.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
- Ensure ongoing client satisfaction through regular check-ins and communication.
- Promptly follow up with inbound leads and inquiries, ensuring that prospects receive timely responses and attention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent experience may also be considered.
- 2-5 years of proven experience in sales, account management, or business development.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies and methodologies, including outbound and inbound sales techniques.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and persuade clients in virtual environments.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule in a remote setting.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales pipelines, track leads, and generate reports.
- Strong focus on building long-term relationships with clients and delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to overcome objections and find creative solutions to meet client needs.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, customer needs, and company goals.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product, and customer success, even in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with the industry in which the company operates (e.g., SaaS, tech, B2B, etc.) is a plus.
- Previous experience working remotely or in a distributed team is advantageous but not mandatory.
