Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets. Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Identify and prospect potential clients in target markets. Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close new business deals.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Regularly communicate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit margins while meeting client expectations. Ensure that contracts are aligned with the company’s policies and objectives.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare regular reports on account status, sales performance, and forecast revenue. Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise, acting as a mediator between the client and the company.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in sales, business development, or related areas are a plus.
- Proven experience as an Account Executive, Sales Executive, or in a similar role, typically with 2-5 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, methods, and techniques. Experience in managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Familiarity with the industry in which the company operates, including knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and agreements that are beneficial to both the client and the company.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage accounts and track sales activities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing client needs or market conditions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing, customer success, and product development.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to understanding and meeting client needs.
