Responsibilities:
- Build strong, long-term partnerships with existing and new clients to drive trust and repeat business.
- Consistently achieve revenue goals through strategic selling and effective account management.
- Proactively seek and develop new leads within assigned territories or industries.
- Prepare tailored proposals and presentations to showcase solutions that meet client needs.
- Handle contract terms and pricing discussions to close deals while ensuring profitability.
- Work with marketing, product, and support teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
- Monitor account performance, upsell services, and ensure clients receive value from offerings.
- Use CRM systems to maintain records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline data.
- Address and resolve issues promptly to maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
- Keep up with market dynamics, competitors, and innovations to adjust strategies and provide relevant insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, typically 3–5 years or more.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, especially in competitive or fast-paced industries.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales-related tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and goal-oriented attitude.
- Industry knowledge or experience relevant to the company's market (e.g., tech, healthcare, SaaS, etc.).
- Willingness to travel, depending on the nature of the role and client locations.
