Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify leads through outbound prospecting, cold calling, emails, and social media outreach.
- Research target companies to understand their business needs and determine how the product/service can provide value.
- Initiate contact with potential clients to introduce the company's offerings and generate interest.
- Set up meetings or demos for Account Executives or sales managers to advance the sales process.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and prospect interactions in the CRM system.
- Follow up with leads regularly to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
- Collaborate closely with marketing teams to align on campaign goals and messaging for lead generation.
- Meet or exceed quotas for outreach, meetings booked, and qualified leads delivered.
- Provide feedback to sales and product teams based on customer interactions to improve offerings and processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and product knowledge to effectively engage prospects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and confident phone/email presence.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly with prospects.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to exceed performance targets.
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with good time management and multitasking abilities.
- Tech-savvy, with experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer-centric selling techniques.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn, especially about the company’s products, services, and target markets.
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience (internships, retail, or service roles) is a plus but not always required.
