About the Role:
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and revenue growth by acquiring and managing enterprise-level accounts for their CRM software tailored specifically for local governments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and close new enterprise-level accounts within the local government sector, focusing on municipalities, counties, and other government agencies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target accounts, including mayors, city managers, department heads, and IT directors.
- Understand the unique challenges and pain points of local government agencies, and position our CRM solution as the ideal digital transformation tool to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance citizen engagement.
- Collaborate with our pre-sales and solution engineering teams to conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops that showcase the value proposition of our CRM platform and address the specific needs of prospective clients.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline, track progress against revenue targets, and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product development teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives, provide feedback from the field, and contribute to product roadmap discussions.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in enterprise software sales, preferably within the CRM, SaaS, or government technology sectors. Experience selling into the local government market is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of the local government landscape, including regulatory requirements, procurement processes, and IT infrastructure challenges. Familiarity with CRM solutions and digital transformation trends is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with senior-level decision-makers. Strong networking abilities within the local government community are advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct needs assessments, articulate value propositions, and tailor solutions to address customer pain points. Experience with complex, enterprise-level sales cycles is essential.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for identifying and pursuing sales opportunities effectively.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and contribute positively to a dynamic, high-performing sales organization.
