Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the company's sales strategy, including identifying target markets, prospecting potential clients, and establishing partnerships to generate new business opportunities.
- Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, leveraging your network and industry expertise to acquire new clients and build long-lasting relationships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, goals, and pain points, and providing tailored solutions to address their requirements effectively.
- Develop a deep understanding of client's product offerings, features, and benefits, and effectively communicate them to clients, providing demonstrations and presentations as needed.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including pipeline management, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing deals, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to align sales efforts with overall company objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans and initiatives to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth, adapting strategies as needed based on market feedback and changing conditions.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, generate regular reports, and provide insights and recommendations to leadership to inform decision-making and optimize sales effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with experience in selling industrial or specialized products preferred. Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth, meet or exceed revenue targets, and build long-lasting client relationships.
- Strong understanding of the graphite industry, including knowledge of client products, applications, and market trends. Familiarity with the needs and challenges of potential clients in industries such as manufacturing, energy, electronics, and automotive.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and growing business ventures. Ability to thrive in a startup environment and take initiative to drive results, even in the face of uncertainty and ambiguity.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with company objectives and market opportunities. Experience in market analysis, competitor research, and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, articulate value propositions, and negotiate terms. Proficiency in delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Strong customer orientation with a commitment to understanding client needs, providing exceptional service, and delivering tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Ability to build trust and rapport with clients and act as a trusted advisor.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets. Motivated by success and driven to deliver outstanding results for both the company and its clients.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, client preferences, and product offerings. Willingness to learn and continuously improve sales techniques and strategies.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience and industry certifications may be considered in lieu of formal education.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement the company's initial sales strategy, including identifying target markets, defining value propositions, and outlining key tactics to acquire new clients and generate revenue.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor, providing tailored solutions and personalized support to meet their requirements.
- Take ownership of the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, leveraging your network and industry expertise to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Lead by example in driving sales efforts, setting ambitious but achievable targets, and inspiring and motivating the sales team to perform at their best.
- Act as an ambassador for client, promoting brand awareness and positioning the company as a trusted leader in their industry. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to align sales efforts with overall company objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate regular reports to assess progress towards goals, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making.
- Adapt sales strategies and approaches based on market feedback, competitor activities, and changing industry dynamics. Continuously iterate and refine sales processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the product development team, providing valuable feedback and insights to inform product enhancements and updates.
- Play a key role in driving our client's growth and success, contributing to the achievement of overall company objectives and positioning the company for long-term sustainability and profitability.
