Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives, with a focus on acquiring new customers and driving revenue growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting market research, and building relationships with potential clients.
- Lead the sales process from lead generation to closure, including conducting product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with new customers.
- Nurture and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty. Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and issues.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and cohesion across all aspects of the business.
- Provide support and training to internal teams, as well as external partners and stakeholders, to ensure they have the knowledge and resources necessary to effectively sell and promote the company's products or services.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics, such as pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue targets, and provide regular updates and reports to management on sales performance and progress towards goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs and preferences, and use this knowledge to inform sales strategies and initiatives.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for the company, representing its values, mission, and offerings in a professional and compelling manner at all times.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in sales, account management, and business development, and actively seek opportunities for professional growth and development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally in a technology or SaaS (Software as a Service) environment. While the exact number of years of experience may vary depending on the company and industry, having a demonstrated track record of success in a similar role is typically required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with clients, conducting presentations, and negotiating contracts. The ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively is key.
- A strategic mindset and the ability to think critically about market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive dynamics are important for developing and executing effective sales strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders are crucial for success in this role. Being able to establish rapport, foster trust, and navigate complex interactions is essential.
