Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and close new customers through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, and referrals.
- Manage deals from initial outreach through contract negotiation and closing, ensuring a smooth handoff to customer success.
- Develop scalable sales strategies and workflows, contributing to the foundation of the company’s go-to-market motion.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to relay customer feedback and influence product direction.
- Help craft pitch decks, case studies, email templates, and other collateral to improve win rates and streamline outreach.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by leadership, contributing directly to company revenue growth.
- Identify high-value clients and cultivate long-term partnerships that can lead to upsell opportunities and referrals.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and deal progression in the CRM, helping improve sales forecasting and reporting.
- Represent the company at events, demos, and meetings, clearly articulating the product's value and vision.
- Set the example and share best practices to help onboard and train new members of the growing sales team.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of success in a B2B sales or SaaS environment, ideally with experience managing full sales cycles.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments with limited structure and resources.
- Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Hands-on experience using sales tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar for pipeline management and forecasting.
- Ability to understand client needs and align solutions to drive measurable value.
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Collaborative with a strong sense of ownership and willingness to contribute beyond just sales (e.g., process, strategy).
- Ability to pivot quickly, learn from feedback, and thrive in a constantly evolving product and market landscape.
- Formal education or demonstrated professional experience in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing, communications).
