Key Responsibilities
- Own the entire sales process—from prospecting to closing—with mid-market clients.
- Identify high-potential companies within the mid-market segment and qualify inbound and outbound leads.
- Run discovery calls to uncover pain points and tailor product demonstrations to address specific business needs.
- Establish trust and long-term relationships with decision-makers and influencers across client organizations.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas through consistent pipeline generation and deal closure.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline updates in CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Work with legal and finance teams to structure mutually beneficial deals and close efficiently.
- Keep up with industry news, competitor offerings, and emerging customer needs to position the product effectively.
- Ensure a smooth handoff to customer success and remain available to support expansion or renewal opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven track record selling to mid-sized companies, ideally in SaaS or technology sectors.
- Experience managing the entire sales process—from prospecting and discovery to closing.
- Consistently met or exceeded revenue targets in previous roles.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication for engaging with stakeholders at various levels.
- Comfortable using tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems for pipeline and activity management.
- Ability to conduct effective discovery calls and deliver tailored product demonstrations.
- Confident in handling pricing discussions, procurement processes, and contract negotiations.
- Works well cross-functionally with sales engineers, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp complex products and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
