Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential customers through various channels like LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calls, and events.
- Reach out to new leads via phone, email, or social media to introduce the company’s product or service.
- Set up discovery calls or product demos between qualified leads and Account Executives or Sales Managers.
- Accurately log all interactions, notes, and progress in a CRM system to track pipeline activity.
- Stay in touch with leads through timely and value-driven follow-ups to nurture interest.
- Ask insightful questions to identify pain points and determine if the product offers a good fit.
- Work closely with marketing for campaigns and with sales for seamless lead handoff.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the company’s products, services, and value propositions.
- Hit performance metrics such as outreach volume, qualified leads generated, and meeting quotas.
- Share insights from conversations with leads to help improve messaging, product-market fit, and marketing strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1–2 years of sales or customer-facing experience, preferably in B2B or SaaS environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive outreach.
- Strong research and prospecting abilities, comfortable using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage and track leads.
- Goal-oriented mindset, with a track record of meeting or exceeding outreach and meeting quotas.
- Active listening and qualifying skills, able to identify pain points and assess fit quickly.
- High energy and persistence, resilient in handling rejection and following up diligently.
- Basic understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, MEDDIC) and objection-handling techniques.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of balancing high outreach volume with personalized follow-up.
