Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound and inbound prospecting. Research and target potential customers using various tools and resources.
- Engage with potential clients to assess their needs and determine if they are a good fit for the company’s products or services.
- Reach out to prospects via phone, email, and social media to introduce the company's offerings. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
- Work closely with Account Executives and other sales team members to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions and activities in the company’s CRM system. Track progress and metrics related to lead generation and conversion.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Use this knowledge to improve prospecting strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential clients to keep them engaged and informed about the company’s offerings.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals for lead generation and appointments set. Continuously improve performance through feedback and training.
- Provide insights and feedback to marketing and sales teams on the effectiveness of campaigns and messaging.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related roles, such as internships or part-time positions, is preferred but not always required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate value propositions and engage prospects.
- Basic knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to adapt to changing environments and learn new tools and techniques.
Skills & Experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in lead generation, prospecting, and qualifying leads.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Previous experience in a sales, customer service, or related role is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the industry in which the company operates is beneficial.
- Experience using CRM software for managing leads, tracking interactions, and reporting is often required.
- Experience in using various outreach methods (phone, email, social media) to engage with potential clients.
- Experience working closely with sales teams, marketing departments, or other relevant teams to ensure alignment and success in outreach efforts.
